Our Mission

Raising the next generation of jazz musicians

Jazz improvisation is one of the most rewarding — and most intimidating — skills in all of music. For decades, the barrier to entry has been high: years of private lessons, expensive transcription work, and the sheer mysticism surrounding "playing changes."

InFlow was built to change that. By giving every aspiring jazz musician an AI-powered practice partner that generates idiomatic solos over real chord changes, we make the language of jazz improvisation visible, audible, and learnable from day one.

We believe the jazz tradition thrives when more people can participate in it. InFlow is our contribution to keeping that tradition alive — and growing.

How it works

From chord changes to solo in seconds

No theory required to get started. Just pick a tune and hit generate.

Choose your chord changes

Browse a library of jazz standards — from ii–V–I exercises and blues forms to classic bebop heads — or build your own custom changes bar by bar.

Generate a solo

InFlow's AI engine — built on decades of jazz grammar research — crafts an idiomatic melodic line that follows the harmony, just as a real improviser would.

See & hear it instantly

Full sheet music renders in your browser with a built-in audio player. Choose your instrument transposition (C, B♭, E♭, F) and play it back at your own pace.

Study and internalize

Slow down passages, print the sheet music, and analyze which notes work over which chords. Your generation history is saved so you can revisit past solos any time.

Repeat and grow

Generate hundreds of different solos over the same changes. Every run gives you fresh melodic vocabulary to absorb and add to your own playing.

Play what you know

Use InFlow as a reference, a warm-up tool, or a springboard. The best solo is always the one you play yourself — InFlow just helps you get there faster.

Features

Everything you need to start improvising

Built specifically for learners, not just performers.

AI-Generated Jazz Solos

Powered by Impro-Visor's research-grade jazz grammar engine — the same technology used in academic jazz research — producing solos that follow real harmonic logic.

Instant Sheet Music

Beautiful, print-ready notation renders directly in your browser using the industry-standard alphaTab library. Print any solo as a PDF for offline practice.

Multi-Instrument Playback

Listen to your solo played back on alto sax, tenor sax, trumpet, clarinet, trombone, or a synth voice — whatever matches your instrument.

Instrument Key Support

Choose your instrument key — Concert (C), B♭, E♭, or F — before generating. The solo is produced in the right key for your instrument from the start.

Jazz Standards Library

A growing collection of chord changes for the tunes every jazz student needs to know — from blues forms to rhythm changes to complex modern progressions.

Custom Chord Changes

Build your own chord charts bar by bar with an intuitive chord picker. Save them to your account and generate solos over your own compositions.

Works on Any Device

No app to install. InFlow runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or phone — practice on the go between rehearsals or lessons.

Generation History

Sign in to save every solo you generate. Return to past runs, compare different interpretations, and track your progress over time.
